Intern – Business Development & Operations
With a focus on helping international entrepreneurs establish their businesses in new markets, Aragon helps international business owners and entrepreneurs relocate by taking care of business planning, finding investors and local business partners to join them, and providing engineering and technology consultation in setting up the operations, manufacturing plants, getting required government approvals, engineering and safety regulations, and also finding potential customers for these new businesses in new markets. Position
We are currently hiring an intern/volunteer looking for this Fall term position. Candidates in an undergraduate program who will be returning to school after the internship to be eligible to apply.
The position will report to the Senior Manager of Business Development and Operations of Aragon Corp. The role will require you to collaborate with a highly specialized cross-functional team of marketers and business partners to implement strategic initiatives that build the Mackenzie brand to drive acquisition, growth, and retention.
As the intern, you will assist the team with building brand awareness and consideration with financial advisors while also supporting client communications. The desired candidate will have an interest in business consulting and financial service marketing and perform their best when challenged with new and diverse opportunities.
Responsibilities
This role will require an organized, proactive individual who is able to multi-task. The following are select key responsibilities:
• Support the execution of the strategic operational plans for multi-channel and multi-segment initiatives
• Oversee and manage relevant webpages and events
• Coordinate the production of product and event support materials
• Coordinate approvals and feedback from cross-functional stakeholders
• Build and manage close relationships with key business partners, both inside and outside of Aragon, to understand their strategies and priorities
• Support efforts to better understand and improve the experience and resources for advisors and investors
• Other duties as they pertain to marketing and brand initiatives

– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping
– Proficiency in using computer software and applications for administrative tasks

Contract length: 4 months
Salary: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
