(Internal Role : Business System Configuration / Development I) Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL): Assist in the development and implementation of ETL pipelines using Python and Power BI to efficiently collect and process data from various sources. Assist the Data Science Manager and team members to gather, identify, and model datasets required for GO Expansion projects. Assist in data discovery and classification, locating data from various systems and ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Data Modelling: Work closely with the team to understand data requirements and contribute to creating data models that support our business needs. Data Engineering Metric Visualization: Participate in the creation of insightful Data About Data visualizations using Power BI, enabling data-driven decision-making. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, transformations, and models.
Data Integration: Assist in integrating data from different sources and platforms, including Power Automate and Power Query. Data Analysis: Conduct basic data analysis and support the team in deriving meaningful insights from the data. Work with Data Science Manager on addressing existing data debts within the current systems to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Assist in maintain data deliverables such as a data dictionary, business glossary, and data catalogue.Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering. Strong knowledge of data structures and data modeling concepts. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, with proficiency in Python and Power BI being advantageous.
Basic understanding of Power Automate and Power Query is a plus. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a keen eye for data accuracy and quality. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills.
