We have an immediate opening for a
Communications & Marketing Student Intern
(minimum 20 hours/week). This position is available in
Calgary, AB
.
How we plan on keeping you busy:
·
Assist with the development and creation of materials and content for: internal communications, community newsletters, corporate photo contest, speaking engagements, community events, website and social media channels
·
Support communication initiatives related to the development, writing, publication and promotion of internal reports and newsletters
·
Coordinate details for various stakeholder relations community events
·
Support creative services initiatives, including graphic design support, presentation development, scripting for videography.
·
Social media and website analytics
·
Update filing systems and consolidating materials as needed
· Ad-hoc reporting & metrics for the Shared Services team
· Other duties as assigned from the People & Culture team related to our People strategy: employee engagement, surveys, cultural events, micro learnings, etc.
What will help you get here:
· Enrolled in a full time post-secondary education program, with a focus in Business, Marketing, Communications or Human Resources
· Ability to openly articulate and promote new ideas;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to decipher complicated topics to write in simple language
· Strong computer skills with preferred experience in the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams);
· Detail oriented with strong organizational, problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills.
