Photography Studio Intern (Unpaid/Honorarium)
Mississauga STUDIO Location – 355 Admiral Blvd. Unit 4, MISSISSAUGA, ON L5T 2N1
As Canada’s leading clothing retailer of high end men’s wear based in Toronto and operating in major centres across Canada, an exciting and challenging internship opportunity exists in the E-Commerce Photo Studio, Mississauga. We are currently seeking a student to assist and support the E-Commerce Photo Studio. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure in a well-established organization.
After training takes place, the successful candidate will work independently on a number of tasks and projects with guidance from the Photography team.
Responsibilities will include:
• Post-production procedures, including cropping, retouching and colour correcting digital images
• Digital image library filing and management
• Assisting with shoots (setting up studio and lights)
• Assist with sourcing props and organizing prop storage
• Uploading product images to a Content Management System
• Perform website audits to ensure images are correctly displayed
• Other duties and projects as assigned in production teams
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a university/college program which has a formal internship/co-op requirement
• Currently enrolled in a Photography or related Digital program
• Experience in photo editing, including retouching and colour correcting
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience working on Macintosh and PC computers
• Knowledge of DSLRs
• Experience with a Web Content Management system an asset
Location: Mississauga Studio onsite location/Work from Home – Hybrid Work Environment
Required: September 5, 2023 – December 15, 2023; (5 days per week; 9am – 2pm daily) 24 hours/per week
