We are looking for an eager Product Manager to join the Tecsys team for a 4-month internship position in Fall of 2022 . The internship will run from September 5th to December 22nd, 2023.
Tecsys is a publicly traded TSX scale-up enterprise software company focused on supply chain transformation. Tecsys OMNI TM OMS Platform helps retailers connect their digital commerce to physical stores. Iconic brands like Sephora, Ubisoft, Quicksilver, Columbia Sportswear, and Browns Shoes use Tecsys OMNI TM OMS every day to process millions of online orders.
The Tecsys OMNI TM OMS Product team is responsible for determining the strategic direction, translating that vision into product features for the development organization and technical documentation for customers. As a Product Manager Co-op, you will join this mighty team to pave the future of omni-channel commerce.
Purpose and Objectives:
As a co-op student on the Tecsys OMNI TM OMS Product Team you will work very closely with other Product Managers, Technical Writers, and Research & Development (R&D) teams. You will be a critical member of the team, supporting other R&D teams and creating valuable impact for our customers.
Responsibilities:
• Support product release cycle with clear requirements and documentation in the form of user stories, features, epics, release notes, etc.
• Be an active participant in the product release cycle, collaborating with relevant teams and stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
• Creating and updating documentation like marketing collateral s (presentations, newsletters, datasheets, etc.)
• Sharing ideas and research to teams in an effective and collaborative manner
• Keep on top of the latest market and industry trends related to retail and order management system
Skills & Qualifications:
• Curiosity about technology and concepts related to current priorities (no development background needed, more around communicating a concept/ requirement effectively)
• Willingness to learn and take a proactive approach
• Adaptable to changing priorities
• Familiar with agile software development practices
• Ability to pick up technical and business concepts quickly
• Superior organization skills
• Design aptitude a bonus
